I'm Kristen Miller. As a career social worker, I have spent the last twenty-five years counseling young adults, assisting and guiding them as they plan for their futures.
My depth of personal and professional experience gives me a unique understanding of the college selection and admissions process. I support students and alleviate application stress by using a thoughtful, methodical, organized approach to selecting a "good fit" college.
With my own five children, I have experience with neurodiversity, unique learning profiles, high-achieving students, English language learners, ROTC members, student athletes, running start students, and IB diploma scholars. This depth of experience, together with my decades in social work and education in college counseling, inform the way I consult.
I earned a BA in Justice from American University and completed my Certificate in College Counseling from UCLA.
I'm delighted to share my insight with families who are approaching this exciting time in their lives!
